Dishforth

At Dishforth, our team enhanced a modern new-build home by reworking its hallways and creating a purpose-designed boot room tailored to the realities of everyday family life.

The brief was to transform transitional spaces into areas that are both highly functional and visually cohesive with the rest of the home. Hallways were carefully reconfigured and finished to introduce a greater sense of warmth, flow and durability, elevating areas that are often overlooked but used constantly.

A new boot room was designed and built to manage the practical demands of a busy household, providing integrated storage for coats, shoes and everyday essentials. Bespoke joinery was incorporated to maximise space and organisation while maintaining a clean, considered aesthetic. Materials and finishes were selected for their resilience, ensuring the space performs as well as it looks.

Throughout the project, attention was paid to proportion, detailing and consistency, allowing the new works to feel intentional rather than added on. The result is a refined, hard-working entrance sequence that supports family life while maintaining a calm, high-quality finish.

This project demonstrates Partington Properties Ltd’s ability to improve how homes function, not just how they look — delivering thoughtful, design-led solutions built for real life.
